May 5th, 2026 Ministry Update: Camp Progress and Preparing for Ukraine

Dear Friends and Partners,

Greetings once again from Sebiș, Romania! Following up from last week, it has been another busy and encouraging week here in the ministry.

Today is our weekly day of prayer, when we set aside time to lift up the needs of the ministry and our partners. If you have a need, please let us know, we would be happy to pray for you.

Last week was largely spent preparing the children’s camp for our annual May 1st picnic here in Romania, which is Labor Day. Although the weather was colder than usual, we still had a wonderful day, with many from our local church coming out to enjoy fellowship together outdoors. Below are a few pictures.

We are looking forward to having the soffit, fascia, and gutters completed on the old house at the camp in the next few weeks. Once that is finished, the scaffolding can finally be taken down.

At the same time, we have begun working on finishing four bathrooms near the dorms at the camp as we continue preparing for the upcoming summer season.

Plans are also continuing for our upcoming mission trip into Ukraine, which will take place May 15–17. Our focus will be to minister to refugees and orphans, sharing the love and hope of Christ during a very difficult time. Please keep this trip in your prayers as we prepare.

Thank you for continuing to stand with us through your prayers and encouragement. It means a great deal to know that we are serving together in this work the Lord has called us to.

If the Lord places it on your heart to give, your support helps us continue reaching children, youth, and families here in Romania, as well as those we serve in Ukraine. We are truly grateful for your partnership and the difference it makes.

May the Lord bless you and keep you in His perfect peace.
